Greetings....Early I started a thread about something that I feel is disturbing and I believe most of you agree with me. Poster flipping...especially the pre sale type on ebay...as well as the practice of hoarding from merch booths and selling on ebay at 100 times the flippers cost. I was defending the collector, as well as the artists, and a few people actually attempted to almost defend this practice. I mentioned that most artists do not approve of this type of activity and ive asked many of the artists whos posters you all collect about this and Ive overwhelmingly found this to be true. Clearly the collectors that are forced to either pay exorbitant prices or see sold out whenever they try to win on a drop would agree with me. Though legal I feel its like bottom feeding and i have no problem writing that. We, the collectors, should not be the ones without a chair when all is said and done. Too often we are. I want you to read what is on Shep Faireys site. Please do not comment on the artist himself. Its not about what he does. Its about what he says and I believe he speaks for most of us.
