Greetings! In 2013, 16 of our graduate students were named as finalists for the Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program—making American Public University System the top ranking online university and sixth highest among all universities. The PMF Program seeks out graduating graduate students with a history of academic and professional excellence to participate as fellows at various government departments, agencies, and bureaus. Candidates should be highly motivated individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to scholarship, their field of study, and academic excellence. We are again preparing to accommodate students for PMF. The Presidential Management Fellows Program (PMF) will soon be seeking graduate students, whose degrees have been completed since November 15, 2011 or will be completed prior to August 15, 2014, with a history of academic and professional excellence. Interested candidates should be committed to a career in public service and be willing to participate as Fellows in various government departments. PMF Finalists are given 1 year to apply for Fellows positions. Once the fellowship is complete, Fellows are given the opportunity to transition non-competitively into a permanent and full-time position within the federal government. The PMF application window is tentatively scheduled to open on USAJobs.gov October 1st and will be open only until October 15th.
