Greetings. Just want to give you all a heads up on Midway Airport security. I went this morning to check if there was any more owls hanging around. There was one on the roof of the National Guard building. I ran back home and got my family to see. There were other birders there taking pics with binocs and an iPhone. A Chicago cop rolled up and asked what we were doing. He was super nice. Then two Airport Security persons rolled up. They were not so nice. This has little to do with birds so I am not going into great detail, but let me just say if I had a video of the conversation it would have been more entertaining than my video of the owl. The cop was super cool the whole time, I think he would have let us stay. The two yo-yos actually followed me to my car and they half apologized (explaining that the commisioner saw us on her lunch break), but I am also pretty sure they were relaying my plate# back to somebody, which cant be a good thing. Whatever.
