Yesterday was a day to remember my sister, Gerri. I find I mourn her and all aspects of her. I mourn her creativity, her love, her wisdom, her tenacity, her random phone calls (especially when we are about to sit for a meal - we dont answer the phone during meals - I thought she had a camera and knew when to call), her big sister advice, her love for Colin Firth, her company, her generous spirit, and her singing. Fred was in the shower listening to the iPod on speaker when a song came on. I could hear Fred singing and clear as day I could hear a female voice singing along too! At first I didnt think anything of it. Danielle was visiting so I thought she was nearby singing along. And then I realized she wasnt nearby and she wouldnt be singing with this song. I closed my eyes and listened.
