Greetings everyone, hope you all enjoyed a blessed and Happy Passover and Happy Easter. Seems appropriate that tomorrow I’m heading to Chicago to speak at the nations largest Catholic school, DePaul University to discuss the topic of the Middle East and Israel/Palestinian situation. I have been invited as part of the speakers series of the Young Americas Foundation -- always great to get an opportunity to speak on our college and university campuses to the young people. This is my second time to a Chicago -area university. Previously spoke at Northwestern on the role of the US military in spreading democracy -- to the surprise of the audience I believe, I stated that the US military does not have a primary role in spreading democracy. The event at DePaul University will be held Monday evening 6pm at the Lincoln Park Student Center. I look forward to seeing some ol friends I made there in Skokie perhaps? As well, I will be able to sign copies of my book, Guardian of the Republic. Hope to see you there to discuss a very important strategic issue from a purely historical and factual perspective -- as opposed to a radical Islamist or liberal progressive agenda. I will present, you can decide, and we can discuss the way ahead in a region that has been horribly destabilized -- one where I did spend some time serving in uniform.
