Greetings with Grace and Peace to All... from all of us at Tccc, Were so glad to be in touch with you this day! RECIPES.. thats the Word I received while I was praying about this weeks message. I had pulled out many different recipe ideas to choose from as I was planning each days menus for this past weekend. So it made sense to me that I was being guided in the right direction. Deuteronomy 6 Love the Lord your God : 4. Hear, O Israel : The Lord our God, the Lord is One. (this is a God recipe) 5. Love the Lord your God with All your heart and with All your soul and with All your strength. 6. These commandments that I give to you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Raising our children successfully in the Word of God will come when we learn to make Jesus a life style and not information style way of life. Each day gives us an opportunity to teach Gods plan for their lives and our lives. Take the time to make an object lesson out of every day experiences. Focus on each little thing, and the big ones will fall into place. Bringing the Truth of God into the hearts of our children will allow God Himself to instruct and fill in any gaps that you and I may have left out in the process of parenting. (now this goes for grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends) We all have families in our lives that WE have a responsibility towards,... to reflect and teach Jesus. I wish everyone reading this today could have been here this last week as we witnessed a melting pot of peoples, personalities, occupations, age groups and talents,.... work and fun..all in (3) three short days. The accomplishments were phenomenal. Thank you. Fixing food for this crew was a joy! So many different age groups and taste buds. But we managed to find something, with just the right flavor to suit each one. If you are a cook, you know that nothing makes you feel better than seeing the food youve prepared disappear with smiles.(God is like that, He likes seeing His Word on our menu plan) Music fed us too. The buildings, the construction sights, the kitchen, the wood lots, the campfire fellowship, everywhere you tuned your ears to... There was a song to sing. This gathering of friends and family brought teaching moments, directional skills, obedience lessons, all sandwiched together with respect for each other combined with the Love of Jesus, as projects became physical evidence before our very eyes. Hammers, nails, saws, paint, paintbrushes, wood, tree trimmers, rakes, wheelbarrow and post hole diggers transformed the land once again. They all worked hard and then they played hard too. The parents were not excited that the children found a sand dirt pile to play on and in!! The sand hill became owner of some shoes and flip flops! Along with clothing articles that will never be the same. Several were sent back to the mountain to retrieve lost shoes. (remember the sand and mountain story? ) Little Gracie came up to me, Miss Donna, do you have a shovel?. (one of the pics Ill send shows Gracie in the background digging with her shovel) Then the last day came, it was Sunday already. We held church in the Meeting Barn, all 26 of us couldnt fit inside the Chapel. The Presence of the Lord was surrounding us. (Thats how God Honors us you know, With His Presence) God allowed Pete and I to share the Vision He gave us in 2006. One Vision Two People at the Same Time. We poured out our hearts and lives before them, and they shared their life moments with us. It was like sharing a good meal together. Once again God provided the right recipe.. Good Word.. Hungry people... Waiting in anticipation for the next meal at Tccc. TRUTH in the Word, TRUTH with each other, COMMON GOALS, GRACE for and to one another with RESPECT... that makes for a good recipe. As you read through this account with our last Mission Team, along with their families and events, Id like you to see if you can relate to all the teaching and loving moments God put together in ( 3) three short days. It was an amazing event. And we know its just the beginning of what God has in store for each family that comes to be Restored, Refreshed and Renewed at Tccc and The North Country Family Reunion. Its reminding me to give you these scriptures as I close : Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, pay attention to what I am saying ; incline your ear to my Words. 21. Dont let them depart from your eyes, keep them deep in your heart. 22. For they are life...... Life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. (to their whole being). Be quick to get into the Word. Be Hungry, have an appetite when you read your Bible. Its good medicine, its filling and its good for you. When we lived in Florida there was an early morning tv program titled, If youre too busy to go fishin, youre just too busy Well thats what Im telling you about getting into the Word God has for you... If youre too busy to let Him talk to you, in the Bible, reading your scriptures, then youre too busy. He needs to Reveal to you, what you Need, every day. Dont think youve heard it all, because you havent. Fixing a meal and eating it is never the same, thats the same way it is with the Word of God... Listen, hear that?? Thats the Dinner Bell. :-) Lord, you are my God, my Savior,.my Healer, my Peace my Provider, my Protector, my Everything.. Lord I Worship You because of who you are. In Spirit and Truth, with all my heart I Worship You. With all my mind, soul and strength Lord. I Worship You. God You never change, youre the same yesterday, today and forever. You have always wanted the best for me, you planned it that way.. So I know that Every Good thing is from you. I will not be deceived by any tricks from the enemy. I will Resist him and he has to flee. The enemy has no power over me. My mind is my mind. I go to the Word of God and He Sustains me! Thank You Lord, Thank You Lord. God you are so Good, youre so Good to me. Dear Friends, We are praying for you, your families and circumstances every day. Thank you for your Praise Reports and prayer requests. I want you to know we have had more Victories this week. Answers to Prayers, Healings, jobs are coming forth, bills are being paid, children are coming home, Gods Word is reaching more people and making a difference in their lives!! We live by Faith and not by sight, if you wait until you can see it, its too late, seeing it first is not using your Faith.. Believe.. Believe Trust Him.. Get serious!! Stay the course, Fight the Good Fight of Faith.. Never give up, never give in and never give out. Stay Strong in the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen..
