Hello Friend, My name is Jimmy Delshad and I am the former - TopicsExpress

Hello Friend, My name is Jimmy Delshad and I am the former Mayor of Beverly Hills and a life-long Democrat. I wanted to take a moment to tell you about my friend, Elan Carr, who is running for Congress. Elans parents came to this country as immigrants from Israel in pursuit of the American Dream, and he spent much of my life in West LA. His parents modeled the importance of living a life of service. These values led Elan to serve our country by joining the military. While deployed in Iraq he lead an anti-terrorism team in life-saving missions throughout the country. He then prosecuted terrorists who had attacked American troops. Having fought terrorists in Iraq, Elan turned his attention to fighting criminals on our streets as a Deputy District Attorney for LA County. He regularly prosecutes some of LAs most notorious gangs, as well as cases of domestic violence and animal cruelty. Once elected Elan will fight to implement job training and tax/regulatory structures that grow our economy and create jobs, because too many Americans arent finding the opportunities our economy provided a decade ago. Hell fight to increase teachers salaries, fix our schools, and provide an empowering education for our children, because the current system is imposing enormous economic and personal costs on American families. His background gives him the experience to know that we need to be tough on crime, but that we cant merely handcuff our way out of the crime problem. And only by maintaining the ability to project U.S. power overseas can we protect U.S. citizens and our allies. I ask you to stand with my in supporting Elan Carr for Congress, because every family deserves a chance at the American Dream and the right to pursue it without fear. Remember to vote November 4th. In Your Service, Mayor Jimmy Delshad ELAN CARR FOR CONGRESS (310) 824-1833 ElanCarrforcongress
