Group D England Uruguay Italy Costa Rica England have NEVER lost to Uruguay in World Cup History and have ALWAYS passed the group stages since the 1982 World Cup. Italy is the only European Team to win more than 3 World Cup Titles. Uruguay is the smallest nation with 4 million people to win the World Cup. Costa Rica is still singing praises of 1990 World Cup where they beat Scotland and Sweden to reach 2nd round. Group E France Switzerland Honduras Ecuador Switzerland and Honduras played out a goaless draw in 2010 World Cup. Honduras has never won a game in world cup history. Ecuador has beaten a European Team in every single World Cup they have played in. France last played the Swiss in 2006 World Cup where there was a goaless draw. Group F Argentina Nigeria Iran Bosnia Argentina has faced Nigeria in 2002 and 2010 World Cup in the group stages. Both games ending 1-0 to Argentina. Nigeria has not won a game since the 1998 World Cup against Bulgaria. Iran has won only one game in WC History and that was vs USA in 1998 Bosnia will make their debut appearance in the World Cup as an independent Nation. Group G Germany Ghana Portugal USA USA has not lost to a European Team since 2006 World Cup. USA upset Portugal 3-2 in 2002 World Cup. Ghana has always made it past group stages. Portugal has never lost to an African Team in the World Cup. Germany has finished top 3 of every World Cup since 2002. Group H Belgium Russia Algeria South Korea Belgium last went to World Cup in 2002. Belgium and Russia faced each other in 2002 where it ended in a 1-1 draw. Algeria has never won a game at World Cup. South Korea has only got out of group stages once outside of home soil.
