Group Guidelines The following guidelines have been established to promote a positive and rewarding experience for each group member. Thanks for your support and participation. The purpose of this group is for those with a connection to the past of Alton, IL (and the surrounding local area) to discuss memories and reminisce in a positive manner among all participants. DO: Post your pictures and comments for all to share and enjoy. Reminisce openly and often for the benefit of all group members. Hopefully renew old friendships and gain new ones. Have fun! Contact an admin with any questions or suggestions. Please....DO NOT Do not post advertising of any sort. Do not post anything objectionable to your grandmother or anyone older than her. If your grandmacusses like a sailor then dont post anything objectionable to my grandma. We have group members of all ages and content in this group is to be family fare. Please keep your comments clean and respectful toward one another. Do not attack or criticize another person with your comments. Do not violate any copyright provisions with any materials you post. Do not post current events, unless it is relevant to the purpose of the group or builds upon a memory of the past. There are other opportunities on the internet for you to enjoy that subject. Do not promote negativity. The alternative is much more pleasant and healthy. This is not sound off. Do not re-post items not consistent with the purpose of this group. Dont re-post stuffthat you would normally post on your own wall. With a group this size it can become obsolete quickly if this occurs. Please keep your comments on topic.
