Group input needed: Sent this email to my N yesterday about our 7 year old and followed up with a text to see that he got it. What does he do? Show up at the school and insist on speaking to our son. Our son for the past year has been saying he is afraid his daddy will hurt him and punched him in the arm when he wouldnt go to bed on their last visit. Now after speaking to him at school my son has said he has been lying to me and his brother and sister (who dont have any relationship with their father) and that his dad is really a great dad who he wants to spend time with. Any suggestions? The psychologist said the other night that my son was in an almost catatonic state when he arrived for his appointment and is living in constant fear of his father. Email to N: Our son has been having escalating panic attacks and severe anxiety for the past 10 days and is adamantly refusing to visit today. He saw his psychologist last night and I am taking him as often as possible despite the tremendous financial burden which has been placed solely on me. I am focused completely on his emotional health and seeing that he has all the professional help he desperately needs during this difficult time and simply respecting his wishes.
