Groups on facebook have every right to practice censorship. As they are not public property but the joint property of the group admins and facebook - and therefore should not be subject to the same level of moral scrutiny that I frequently unleash on the public arena. However know this. Groups that practice severe censorship will never get the best I have to offer. They will, at best, get canned, two-dimensional retweets of limited intellectual power. Because this is the highest level of human interaction a group bent on censorship can ever hope for. I am disappointed to say that today I encountered two groups with great potential that are wasting that potential through the practice of militant censorship. I am equally disappointed to say that my intellectual interests on these very important subjects will now lie elsewhere. The intelligent Ella, the thoughtful Ella, the Ella that has the power for change, has other places to be. Peace.
