My first attempt at a Bargello. Only a small one. A nice size for a wall hanging. 35 x 40. I used 5 x 1/2 yard lengths of fabric from my stash and followed instructions from a Bargello book. It was a methodical few days involving pinning every seam twice and carefully finger pressing each seam. This is a QAYG method so the only quilting is the vertical seams and is enough in my opinion as none of the seams are wider than 1 3/4, with some as small as 1/4! It does look good and Im well pleased. I dont know if I will attempt a bed sized quilt, but do like the twisted Bargello design.
