Rydges Hobart has 63 guest rooms, 4 conference spaces, bar and restaurant The successful candidate needs to possess the following experience and skills: As the first point of contact for the Hotel you are totally guest driven and enjoy exceeding guests expectations You posses outstanding communication skills and are impeccably groomed Previous experience in a similar role/roles is an advantage but not essential You have an outgoing personality and winning smile! Thorough local knowledge of Hobart and the surrounding precinct Essential that you hold a valid Drivers Licence Ability to multitask Excellent attention to detail About You: You are always happy You handle pressure with panache You are able to juggle ten things at once You know when to stop talking and really LISTEN You are be able to work autonomously You are able to think outside the square You are able to work shiftwork which involves various shifts including evenings and weekends Previous Front Office and OPERA experience is preferred.
