Guest Services Team Lead-Revelstoke Mountain Resort Reports to: Guest Services Supervisor JOB SUMMARY The Guest Services team continually strives to provide our guest with the ultimate ski adventure. You are expected to market the products, services, programs, benefits and qualities of Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing to our guests. As the Guest Services Team Lead, you are expected to ensure a high level of service for each guest. You will lead a team of 7-8 other team members. You will be empowered to make prompt decisions and resolve guest issues as they arise. This position also requires cross training and some outdoor physical labour. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Answer guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner. • Sell lift tickets, passes, and any other ski products of the resort. • Lead fellow team members by example and take actions to foster positive team morale. • Maintain Lost and Found logs and organization. • Maintain comment card schedules. • Maintain adequate inventory levels. • Maintain daily cleaning schedule. • Complete daily cash outs and assist team members with reconciliations. • Assist Supervisor with scheduling and coordinating of breaks. • Assist guests with ticket/pass issues. • Provide an outstanding Guest experience for all guests of Revelstoke Mountain Resort • Ensure professionalism and quality in all situations • Assist other departments as required. • Other duties as required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Previous experience in a leadership role. • Experience/interest in the ski/snowboard industry is required. • Post-secondary education in tourism is an asset. • Experience in other resort departments such as rental, marketing and outdoor operations is an asset. • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent customer service skills. • Excellent cash handling skills. • Excellent sales skills. • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of RTP is an asset. • English as a first language, French language an asset. • Mature, enthusiastic, and guest service oriented.
