While you ponder, may I suggest that shootings like this will never be prevented until shooters like this are not allowed to walk around. A 16-year-old alleged gang-banger, with a violent history, including arrests for robbery and grand larceny, is how the assailant is described in the story. Hazarding a very wild guess, Im betting the shooter didnt observe New Yorks cumbersome, lengthy and intrusive handgun permit and licensing procedure. Sixteen with multiple arrests, and hes packing heavy? Why wasnt he behind bars doing a sentence that would render him old and incontinent before being eligible for release? How about focusing your anger and intolerance at punks like him instead of the millions upon millions of peaceful and law-abiding gun owners in America whose lawful right to keep and bear arms is impeded every day by your efforts? You wont bring yourselves to call out and show no mercy to killers so you instead focus on futile and flacid illusionary gestures that only do harm to the innocent. How typically liberal is that?
