I always find it a bit strange (to put it diplomatically) that Whitesnake is often so easily referred to as a hairband by a lot of rather ignorant people (usually press persons whose cup of tea isnt heavy guitarrock anyway). I have never seen Ozzy, Zakk Wylde, Guns N Roses etc etc getting labeled as hairbands, the pictures speak for themselves.. it was the 80s guys, lighten up and do your homework!
