HAPPY TAIL - Mr. Buttons (Now Jesse Boomerang/Boombi) Another heart-warming update on Mr. Buttons who continues to thrive in his forever home. He gives so much love and comfort to those around him despite the trauma he experienced prior to rescue. He is one healthy and happy boy! Check out the photos! Mr. Buttons was found abandoned in one of our volunteers backyard. He was completely beat up, flea-infested, and shivering in fear. One of Mr. Buttons eye was horribly infected and smelled like rotting flesh! He was wearing an old collar and an expired rabies tag; an owner could not be traced. We suspect someone knew our volunteer had a heart of gold for animals, and wanted to dump his/her pet due to Mr. Buttons eye condition. Our veterinarian informed us that Mr. Buttons suffered from blunt force trauma to the head. He also had an old laceration injury in the eye that was never properly treated. The eye became so infected that Mr. Buttons lost his eyesight. Our veterinarian performed eye removal surgery which is how Mr. Buttons became a one-eyed dog. The Fuzzy Pet Foundation - (TFPF) goes to great lengths to save our animals, and we find them the best possible homes. We continually thank our powerful network of donors, animal lovers, and veterinarians who make our work possible. It takes a village to help them all.
