“HAS GOD CAST AWAY HIS PEOPLE?” Most would say Yes in a Heart Beat or a New York minute.... However, what does the Book say in answer to the Question? Lets check and see what David writes on the matter: Psalm 94: ... [8] Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? [9] He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? [10] He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know? [14] For the LORD {{WILL NOT}} cast off his people, {{neither will he forsake his inheritance.}} Paul answers the question also, after he asked it... Romans 11: [1] I say then, Hath God cast away his people? GOD FORBID. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. [2] GOD HATH NOT CAST AWAY HIS PEOPLE WHICH HE FOREKNEW. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, [3] Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. [4] But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. [5] EVEN SO THEN AT THIS PRESENT TIME ALSO THERE IS A REMNANT according to the election of grace. So here we have Two True Servants of the God of Israel, Both stating the Lord WILL NOT and HAS NOT Cast his people away. However, yet and Still many people THINK and BELIEVE he has. The Lord Chose The Children of Israel for a Purpose, and that Purpose WILL BE FULFILLED! The Lords Prophet Amos writes this about The Children of Israel: Amos 2 [11] And I raised up of your sons FOR PROPHETS, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD. Peter writes this about the Children of Israel: 1 Peter 2: [9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: [10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Moses writes this about the Children of Israel: Deuteronomy 14 [2] For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people UNTO HIMSELF, above all the nations that are upon the earth. [3] Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing. Whats the Job of a Prophet or Priest??? And why shouldnt they eat ANY ABOMINABLE THINGS??? For THIS PEOPLE / The Children of Israel were chosen to be HOLY and PECULIAR. Moses goes further about this people... Deuteronomy 26: [17] Thou hast **AVOUCHED** the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice: [18] And the LORD {{HATH AVOUCHED THEE}} this day TO BE ***HIS PECULIAR PEOPLE*** as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments; [19] And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken. avouch [ uh-vouch ] verb (used with object) 1. to make frank acknowledgment or affirmation of; declare or assert with positiveness. 2. to assume responsibility for; vouch for; guarantee. 3. to admit; confess. This doesnt sound like a people the Lord plans on casting away does it? Moses continues about THIS PEOPLE... Deuteronomy 7: [6] For thou art AN HOLY PEOPLE UNTO THE LORD thy God: the LORD thy God **HATH CHOSEN THEE TO BE A SPECIAL PEOPLE UNTO HIMSELF** above all people that are upon the face of the earth. [7] The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: [8] But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. [9] Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; [10] And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. [11] Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them. David goes on to say this about The Children of Israel: Psalm 135 [4] For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his ***PECULIAR TREASURE.*** Come on now People, how many would cast away Treasure? So if the God of Israel HASNT CASTED AWAY his People, BUT INSTEAD he CHOSE THEM AS A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, RAISED THEIR SONS FOR PROPHETS, TO BE A HOLY PECULIAR TREASURE, which he *AVOCHED.* Whats the Reason for God showing this people, this type of Attention? What Good is A Priest or Prophet? Do they hold any Value? Why would one need a Royal Priesthood? The Lords Prophet Malachi writes this about this People: Malachi 2 [1] And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. [2] If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. [3] Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. [4] And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. [5] My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. [6] The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. [7] For the priests lips **SHOLUD KEEP KNOWLEDGE, and they SHOULD SEEK THE LAW AT HIS MOUTH:** for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. So the Priests Lips should Keep Knowledge and The People should Seek The Law at his Mouth. No wonder people ARE QUICK to say that God done cast away his people, for they have SURELY cast the Lords Law away. Take a look at the Relationship between the God of Israel and his people: Nehemiah 9: [26] Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to thee, and they wrought great provocations. [27] Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies. [28] But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies; [29] And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear. [30] Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. [31] Nevertheless for thy great mercies sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God. I know not of any other the God of Israel has been this Patience with and suffered so long with... David writes: Psalm 147: [19] He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. [20] He hath NOT DEALT SO WITH ANY NATION: and as for his judgments, THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN THEM. Praise ye the LORD. So if God gave his Word, Statues and Judgments unto Israel and he HASNT DEALT WITH ANY OTHER NATION, nor has any other Nation known them, then who is it that the other Nations need to get these things from? Amos writes: Amos 3 [1] Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, [2] **YOU ONLY HAVE I KNOWN OF ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH** therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. So if the Lord have ONLY KNOWN his People Israel of all the Families of the earth and as we just read from David, the the Lord HAVENT DEALT with no other Nation, it looks like Israel (THE TRIBE) need to be looked at a Little Closer.... Paul writes: Romans 3: [1] What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? [2] Much every way: chiefly, because that ***UNTO THEM WERE COMMITTED THE ORACLES OF GOD.*** [3] For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? [4] God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. oracle[ awr-uh-kuhl, or- ] noun 1. an utterance, often ambiguous or obscure, given by a priest. 2. a person who delivers authoritative, wise, or highly regarded and influential pronouncements. 3. a divine communication or revelation. 4. any utterance made or received as authoritative, extremely wise, or infallible. 5. the Scriptures. Hmmmm.... So The Children of ISRAEL got the Answers. Paul asked in Verse 3 above AFTER HE SAID Israel have been given the Oracles of God. Would if some didnt believe? And then he asked shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? He goes on to say GOD FORBID: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar. So even if some dont believe that Israel HAS THE ANSWERS, their UNBELIEF really DONT MATTER, for God IS TRUE! Jeremiah 31: [35] Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the **SUN FOR A LIGHT** by day, and **THE ORDINANCES OF THE MOON and OF THE STARS FOR A LIGHT BY NIGHT** which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: [36] IF THOSE ORDINANCES DEPART FROM BEFORE ME, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall CEASE FROM BEING A NATION BEFORE ME FOREVER. [37] Thus saith the LORD; **IF HEAVEN ABOVE CAN BE MEASURED, and THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH SEARCHED OUT BENEATH** I will also --->cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. Thats a TALL ORDER...... So as long as we got THE SUN FOR LIGHT by day..... As long as we got THE MOON AND STARS for light by night.....
