HATING OTHERS? Allah describes the believers in the Noble Qur’an as those who constantly strive to have clean hearts, free from malice, hatred and spite. They supplicate for Allah’s help to achieve this: “Our Lord, forgive us and those of our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any rancour against those who believe; Surely, Our Lord, You are Very-Kind, Very-Merciful.” (Qur’an 59:10) “... and they should forgive and forego. Do you not like that Allah forgives you? Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.” (Qur’an 24:22) Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was an embodiment of forgiveness. He encouraged his followers to forgive and establish bonds of love and mutual cooperation. "The strong man is not the one who wrestles, but the strong man is in fact the one who controls himself in a fit of rage." (Bukhari) May Allah bless us all with love and peace. Ameen
