HAVE A GOOD TESTIMONY BEFORE GOD AND MEN Samuel walk with GOD from his childhood until his old age reading and obeying the WORD of GOD. When Samuel addressed the Israelites in 1 Samuel chapter 12, he asked them to point out any wrong he has ever done to them, so he said, Here I am; testify against me before the LORD and Saul HIS anointed. Whose ox or donkey have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded or oppressed? Or from whose hand have I received any bribe to blind my eyes? Tell me and I will restore it to you 1 Samuel 12:3; AMP Bible. What a leader asking the people to point out his wrong doings so that he can make amendments. So this morning the LORD JESUS is asking the same questions to HIS children, to HIS Prophets, to HIS Apostles, to HIS Pastors, to the Evangelist and Teachers of HIS Word, to church leaders, etc. that whose property have you taken, whom have you defrauded or oppressed? Have you received bribe that has blinded your eyes? If you say you have not done all these things! Why then do you pervert justice in the church? Why do you put someone leader who is not spirit filled and leave the one that is spirit filled to lead? Why is the cry of GODS children reaching out to HIM in heaven, because of oppression of tithe and offering sermons, sow a seed and get a miracle sermons, fund raising sermons, church activities sermons of fund raising, oppression of giving, giving and giving in the name of doing GODS work? Why is the HOLY-SPIRIT not in churches, but the spirit of satan and demons? Nevertheless the people of Israel replied and said to Samuel, You have not defrauded us or oppressed us or taken anything from any man’s hand 1 Samuel 12:4; AMP Bible. What a testimony, so the LORD is asking can people also testify the same to you as HIS leader? If Samuel did not defraud or oppressed the people, yet he was successful in life and ministry, because he depended on the provision of GOD; dont you think GOD will provide for you too? Too much oppression and defrauding in the church has made the sheeps of GOD to leave JESUS CHRIST and they are wandering and scattering in the world. Therefore thus saith the LORD GOD of Israel (Born-Again Christians) against the pastors that feed My people; Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture! saith the LORD; you have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD Jer.23:1-2; KJV Bible. Therefore this is what the LORD says; If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve Me; if you utter worthy, not worthless words, you will be My spokesman.
