GOOD NEWS MISS EARTH and CONGRATULATIONS (Y) (Y) (Y) The #MissEarth2014 production is at par with Miss Universe and Miss World. -Nick Verreos, Fashion Designer/Blogger (USA) Yours truly and other #EarthWarriors all over the planet share the same sentiment as the statement above. I was totally in awwwe on how the total presentation was executed . From the opening credits of every candidates in total motion and projection, to the very fluid and superb opening number with the presence of Miss Earth 2013 at the later part of the opening number (a very refreshing move), up to the announcement of the top 16 which was done slowly but surely this time, to the upbeat swimsuit round, and to the smooth transition of the evening gown segment not to mention the flags of their countries waving with pride at the backdrop which gave them the extra booster they needed to perform better knowing that their whole country was at their back, then to the Q and A round done with so much finesse with just a little bump on Miss Brazils portion (the original Portuguese translator was not able to make it at the event) but they were able to pull through, thanks to fellow candidate Miss Shayade Hug, then finally to the coronation and announcent of their respective titles. The camera angles this time was done very professionally, side swept angle of the candidate then focusing on her in the opening number; swimsuit and gown portion focusing on their movement and facial expression making way to their last pose until the next candidate comes. The opening song Fireball was awesome with a bit of remix at the side, the musical score for the Top 16 announcement is quite okay, and the background song for the Evening gown is a good choice (violin and piano) and highly commendable. The 16-8-4 format is really Miss Earths core, it should be done everytime, very Miss Earth. Overall, #MissEarth2014 is the best edition of the pageant so far and can even rival that of Miss Universe and Miss World. Miss Earth is here to stay. It doesnt need the approval of anyone or to drag anyone down just to glorify its name. - Chad Braun
