HC bar body files petition for protection of lawyers CHANDIGARH: Punjab and Haryana high court bar association has filed a petition before Punjab and Haryana high court on Monday demanding adequate protection and security for Amritsar-based lawyers Vaneet Mahajan and Sandeep Gorsi. The petition filed in public interest through secretary of the association, Saurav Khurana, has further submitted that both lawyers were attacked at the instance of Punjab minister Anil Joshi in an alleged attempt to eliminate them for exposing fraud and forgery committed by him in the dual vote case. The lawyers body also demanded to hand over probe in the attempt to murder case against Gorsi to an independent agency.
