HELP WANTED – Part-time Clean-up Work McKinney Wine Merchant is looking for a pair of youths who, working as team, will spend about three hours per week countering the creeping blight which is besetting parts of Historic Downtown McKinney to include the removal of mishandled office and merchant trash throughout the area. Working with a greater goal of contributing to preservation and improvement of McKinney’s ranking as the #2 place to live in America, duties will include: -Collection and disposal of trash and lights debris -Sweeping of sidewalks, gutters and doorways -Pulling weeds from sidewalks and public planters -Maintaining a conspicuously pleasant demeanor -Assisting visitors who might inquire about the area or otherwise seek advice -Recommending practices to keep the area neat Duties will not include the handling of hazardous or animal wastes, heavy lifting or any work in roadways. The team will work on a Friday or Saturday, each week, from about 10am to 1pm and be paid enough money to take a date to a movie, provided that the date isn’t too hungry. The team will be well-groomed, well-spoken and polite enough so as to evoke nostalgic recollections and compliments from those who might come in contact with them. Team members who are absent, tardy or come to demonstrate an unfavorable change of attitude will be dismissed with little contemplation.
