HEY GUYS GIVE THIS A READ FOR ME YOU COULD EVEN JOIN ITS JUST AN EMAIL EVERY MONTH Who are we? Well, together, were pretty amazing: 1.9 million All Out members, building a world where no one has to sacrifice their family or freedom because of who they are or who they love. Can you help decide what we should focus on together in 2014? Right now, were doing a lot of thinking and planning about next year. Were taking advice from legal and political experts, but All Out is about all of us. We make it work together. Should we focus on getting rid of laws that make it a crime to be gay? Stopping gay cures, fighting for marriage equality... theres so much we could do, but we have to prioritise. Almost a year ago, 44,959 of us joined in and we found out a lot about All Out: Were diverse: 15% of us described ourselves bi, another 15% as gay men. 3% of us are trans or third gender, and the largest group of All Out members are straight women at 23%. We all have 1 thing in common: 100% of us are, or know and love, someone who is lesbian, gay, bi or trans. We care about the world: LGBT issues are the thing were most interested in acting on (40%), and womens rights and gender equality comes next (26%). Were connected online: At least once a week, 85% use Facebook and 67% watch a video on YouTube. Being part of All Out is about achieving great things together. 87% of us believe that the actions All Out members are taking are already having an effect, but only 52% believe the world is moving in the right direction. We know theres more we can do and achieve together. 2013 has been a big year for All Out. Weve run more than 38 campaigns in dozens of countries, grown by more than 600,000 people, and weve found new, effective ways to act together to change the world. Weve built a huge outcry against Russias anti-gay laws ahead of the Winter Olympics with a high-profile billboard stunt building pressure on Olympic sponsor Coca-Cola, and a viral video spreading the word to over 1 million people. Weve also raised tens of thousands of dollars to give to brave Russian activist groups, and to keep All Outs campaign going. We got Apple to drop a harmful anti-gay app from their website, and in France, we helped win equal marriage. In Brazil, we helped crush an attempt to make gay cures legal again, and weve kept in close touch with activists in Uganda and Cameroon ready to mobilise All Out members if were asked to help and the moment is right.
