HEY HEY!!!! Switchin things up yall!!!! Alright, I love, enjoy, & thrive off of high intensity, strengthening, & cardio type exercise…But, I also know that stretching, resting, and recovery is VITAL for your body. Especially if you wish to continue to see progress. Am I good at stretching, resting, and recovering? Um…nope! (Hey, just being honest with y’all!!) But every single time I make myself slow down & do it, I always beat myself upside the head, because I feel incredible afterwards!! Dynamix is a “recovery” routine from P90X3. This routine goes well beyond what we usually consider to be a “stretch” or “recovery” routine…it removes the monotony of static stretching, and instead, replaces it with dynamic stretching & dynamic movements which open up the muscles through a range of motion to help repair, but also prepare you for more progress. There are some sequences that are just designed for stretching, but some that make you work a bit, firing up your core & working your muscles. I like to think of this one as a “tune-up” for my body so that it runs at OPTIMAL performance! So, todays workout= 3 mile run, ended with Dynamix! BAM! Feels GREAT!!
