HOLY CRAP ! I FOUND A LONG LOST SONG. While packing I found this song that was written by me, music composed by a Jacksonville Sheriff, ( I was wanted at the time, just a tid bit of info ) the drummer is the best female or male drummer I have ever heard, she was great. The lead guitar is played by Mr. Sheriff. Rhythm played by myself. Ok here is the deal, back, way back, The John Lennon traveling tour bus studio was just beginning and they had a singing/writing and playing competition. Out of over 6 thousand auditions they were to pick 6 of the top performers up and down the east coast. The top six were to write a song, compose the music and make a video of the song all in 6 hours on the studio bus. The video and song was put into a group of 6 winning groups around the country, the winner of those groups would win 250000.00 and all 6 would get a studio demo and a possibility of being signed to a record label. I remember laying in bed with April and I got the call, out of the 6000 contestants, I was picked the number one contestant. The lady on the phone sounded more excited then I was, lol. So get there and 4 of the other 5 winners look totally lost and confused. Come to find out the one not lost was the Sheriff of Jacksonville NC at the time. We all get on the bus and start composing the music, Mr. Sheriff gets credit for the music and the awesome playing towards the end. One contestant was already drunk and he disappeared about mid day. After a few hours I finally hashed out this song Passenger Seat, it was written because thats where I was at the time in my life. The rest of them Sat there and played video games while I finished it up. The first singer was the second place winner, he sang well but no other skills. The second singer is me. After the chorus, its this big country marines turn to sing but he cant carry a tune in a bucket. So if you listen close, I am singing in the back ground so he could follow my key. He does have a nice voice. The high female is a great singer but not much else. The drummer, SHE KICKED BUTT ! Anyways out of the 6 groups we came in third. Not bad I guess. It was a great experience. John Lennon Studio Tour Bus, look it up. I loaned someone my last copy of the video and never got it back, loser. Enjoy
