If ure talented, u may have difficulties when it comes to staying teachable. Gifted people sometimes act like they know it all. This makes it hard to develop more. Teachability is not so much about competence and mental capacity as it os about attitude, it is the hunger to discover and grow. It is the willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn. It is what u learn after u know it all that counts. When u stop learning, you stop leading. Only as u remain teachable will u keep growing and continue to make impacts. The most important skill to acquire is learning how to learn. Try it, ask others for their advice and deliberately withhold the advice ud normally give. At the end of each day write down what uve learned by being attentive to others. Ull be amazed.... Part 2 shortly.
