HON. SEGUN SERIKI AT IJEBU EAST LOCAL GOVERNMENT ON 3RD SEPT. 2014. Hon. Segun Seriki a prominent, vocal vibrant politician yesterday visited Ijebu East Local Government where he met with Executives members of Labour Party Ijebu East. Hon. Segun Seriki, one of the major contestant for the Federal House of Representative representing Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside under the Labour Party was at the Labour Party Secretariat Ogbere where he met with the party officials to solicit for their support and vote at the forthcoming Party Primaries in a couple of Months ahead. He spoke extensively and gave reasons why he should be considered ahead of other aspirants. In his words, as the most versatile, experienced, connected and articulate coupled with the right and genuine commitment to serve should be given the grace to diligently his people. He further pledged to work acidiously with all major stakeholders across board to facilitate development to Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency like it has never being done. Hon. Segun Seriki there after, met with the Ogbere Ward Executives of Labour Party at another venue where he also marshaled his point tentatively to the admiration of the listeners. He stressed the need to make a choice that will better the Party, their constuency and ward ahead of minute/sentiment reason that could jeopadize the chances of the party at the polls. Hon. Segun Seriki did also enjoined the executive members not to allow finacial inducement be their major decider when it is time to cast their vote.... Instead, they should cast their vote for the right and best candidate who can relate cordially with the powers that be at the Federal level for the political, social-economic development of Ijebu North, Ijebu East, Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency. At Imobi I and II in a seperate meeting sought the support of the Ward Executives to enable him represent them at the Federal level. He further said that, the excos should shun fincial inducement which shouldnt be paramount in shaping their opinion/decision because their future and proposed development dued their ward/local may elude them if the best aspirant is not supported to fly the flag of the party (LP). The Federal House Representative aspirant did not hesitate to explained why he is the most qualified and be supported to fly the partys flag while addressing the executive members at Imobi II. He gave his exposure and connection to the people at the corridors of power at Abuja/Nigeria, his brillance and intelligence, vibrancy, vision and capacity to serve as some of the reason why he should be supported to bring basic dividends of democracy to their area/local government by partnering the Presidency and whoever become the Governor of Ogun State to bring development to Imobi. Hon. Segun Seriki went further to seek support from the people to vote Mr. Sina Kawonise at the partys Governorship primaries as Mr. Sina Kawonise is the most prepared and the best among all the contestant within and outside the party...
