HOT SPRINGS, ARKANSAS: Meet Farin, a special needs dog who, along with his brother Falin, were dumped in the country and wandered through the winter cold together until they were found by a Good Samaritan. Farin is white with dark spots and beautiful blue eyes, and DEAF. Falin is not deaf, but he helps Farin get around and watches over her. They are a bonded pair that should be adopted together, although this is not a requirement for adoption. They are sweet and affectionate Staffordshire blended dogs, about 2 years old. Farin loves to run and play despite her deafness, and with Falin, they would make a wonderful pair to add to a special family. They are available now for adoption from the Humane Society of Garland County in Hot Springs. There is an adoption application on their website at hsgc.org, and contact for the kennel there is (501) 623-5012. Please share with all special needs dogs groups and friends in Arkansas who have a special place in their heart for these two survivors. They deserve it.
