HWNSPORTS: A young footballer has been killed after falling more than 50ft from a balcony on holiday in Ibiza. Grant Weston, 24, played for his home village team – and went with a large group of mates to the party island. But he was killed in a fall from a balcony after a night out with his friends. Grant was enjoying a holiday with more than a dozen friends from Pembroke, West Wales. Police on the island are questioning his friends but his death is not being treated as suspicious. Reports quoted Spanish police saying Grant may have forgotten his keys and tried to climb into his room at the Hotel Vedra in San Antonio.. Mark Powell, manager of the village team of Hundleton in Pembrokeshire, said: He was a genuine lad. "He had everything to live for and it’s so cruel that he has been taken away from us. He had a brilliant sense of humour and I have known him for the past eight years. It’s a shock, I feel for his family and he will be a great loss to our football club. __ SL8.IT for Blackberry
