Had a GREAT day in Alamo NV racing the Yucca Chuckers MC Ghost Hare Scrambles. The course was fun... it had a little of everything. there was a couple long road straits, plenty of sand washes, LOL, some serious technical areas with large rock for hundreds of yards... I wadded it up in that stuff a couple times,that broke a few small items. But the eight different hillclimbs were EPIC. Im happy to say I got through them all first try on both of my loops. I got around the first 27 mile loop before the leaders, The officials said I was in first in my class, then asked if I wanted to go an optional 2nd loop. I said ya. I finished it about 20 min. off the pace of my first lap. That was due to a bad get off I had back in the big rocks section. I was in fourth gear and pushing it hard when I fell. I was figuring out what planet I was on for at least 5-10 min. Huge fatigue set in after that. Got through though for the finish. That course tested me in many phases, pretty rough but fun! So I come away with another first in 50+ Novice. I foresee being bumped up soon to the next higher division. I want give a HUGE shout out to my pit crew also. THANKS a bunch to Broc Vandiver and Ryan Molden you guys did a great job!! I couldnt have done it without your help!
