Had a complete stranger tell me I was an awesome person today :) I was working on a roof near otterbein, and a little puppy came walking down the street, by himself and almost got hit by two cars that, apparently, didnt see him :( So I climb down the ladder, to see what I can do, but he just thinks I want to play run in and out of the street, which is like the worst game you can play, so while Im busy letting traffic know to avoid the dog, a student walks by and picks up the dog. The Girl reads the phone number on the tag, but there is no answer when I call :( We sat on the curb for a bit, hoping the owner would call back, or happen by, but no such luck. She said she had an appointment, and couldnt help with the dog anymore, so I said dont worry, Ill find his owner, and started going door to door. As she walked away, she told me I was an awesome person, for taking the time to deal with the dog. No big deal to me. I didnt really want to have to deal with it, but when something NEEDS to be done, I do it. Simple as that. I wasnt gonna just keep working and let him get hit. I know how it feels to have your dog hit by a car. On me of the worse, most helpless feeling vs, ever :( Needless to say, I walked about half a block and saw a kid waving me down, saying hes sorry. I said, dont say sorry to me, say it to Fletcher. Hes the one you forgot about :o He grabbed him up, gave him a hug and said sorry, boy. I went back to work :)
