Had a former adopter contact me and tell me that the puppy she adopted was supposed to be free and that she couldnt take care of the puppy anymore and that she wanted a refund. The puppy is now 9 months old. She has had since 8 weeks. When I asked what she meant by that it was supposed to be free I found out that YOU know WHO told her that. In what world would the head of a rescue tell a former adopter that the dog she adopted was supposed to be free and to ask ME for a refund of her adoption fee? When it was paid directly to the vet over the phone by the adopter? Every time I think she cant sink any lower....there she is...licking the bottom of my shoes again!
