Had a funny day in a cute way -my little grand daughter (6 months old) is unwell she got a bit of a cold and is clingy. Its always murphy law when you want them to sleep they dont.Today I was doing nanny duties and after lunch i was hoping like heck she would go down. I had a triple booking and nothing worse than a screaming baby to listen back too. So i come up with the perfect plan - put her in walker in the room behind a screen so i can see her but she cant see client and scream! (she still in stranger danger mode) OK so nature calls and she is truly carrying on - thanks I say but we continue on. By second client quick nappy change i thought ok I try again. NOPE grizzle pie is not well she wants in on the action. I am thinking this is going to be one heck of a reading - so I collect her up still working with spirit in my stride bounce her on my knee until she starts trying to reach and move about - gets up grabs two sage boxes with incence and hand them to her ! whoooooooooooooooo would have thought Sage was so sedating - or it rid her of evil baby? anyway - That lasted about 1 client and then onto the last client. I am seeing her toss herself over and do her cry that she does when she is sitting nad makes out she fall over. She has no intention of crawling - no she wil stand please and you nana will hold me and let me wipe my dribble all over you whilst i sing! and make lots of noise cause nana you are recording right! Eventually I end up with a puky, dribbly, snotty child lar lar landing on my shoulder whilst i still dont miss a beat delivering the readings . In this moment I realise how once I had five children who all had a hand in making themselves known from jumping in the pther room to running around in a walker when i did my readings..... Looks like we have another one to follow the foots steps - Miss Makenna
