Had a great day today at Ohio Valley Dragway at the Doorslammer Nationals. After a rough start with some mechanical issues, we got everything sorted out and started our journey. Long story short, we went 5 rounds and lost to Tommy Mattinglys dragster by .005 of a second. We got down to 8 cars out of what seemed like 1000. Want to give a shout-out to Daniel Garrow for hooking me up with a rubber freeze plug so we could fix a broken water filler neck on the intake and to my buddy Mike Clark for loaning me a starter this morning after mine took a crap. Also want to thank Lee Ann and Jeremy, my co-crew chiefs, that help make this dream of mine happen. All in all, a great day with great food with awesome friends and family
