Had a little accident at Wal Mart today. ...happened suddenly. I was walking up near the registers, headed to the produce, and I suddenly began to slip and fell, hitting hard on my right hip and left knee, kind of did the splits. Someone had dripped a long trail of soda, and not realizing it, I stepped in it, and down I went. Immediately I was surrounded by several employees offering to assist me in getting up, and asking if I was ok. Oddly, I wasnt embarrassed, just baffled. I couldnt figure out why I was slipping and falling, and just couldnt stop sliding. They insisted I file a report...just in case. So I did. Im kind of glad I did. My knee was hurting, ...felt twisted. And now my hip is hurting. The Manager said theyd call and check on me tomorrow. I was very pleasantly surprised, and pleased, that at least 8-10 different employees talked to me a made sure I was ok, asking me repeatedly if I was alright. The manager, Brian, said hed call me tomorrow, and said he expects Ill be a little sore. I probably will be.
