Had a little scare tonight with Dutchie. He had been up most of the day and when I went to feed and clean up tonight I could tell he was tired. So I finished up the evening chores and got his bed ready. Was giving B some hay and he plopped down pretty hard up against the wall in a funny position so he went to get back up. When he did he stumbled and fell onto his bad side. I could tell it hurt him pretty good as his good leg which is now on the up side, was shaking like he was hurting. I immediately called my dad who was inside to come help me roll him so that he could get up. He is 400 plus pounds just guessing and no way I could roll him myself. We got him back on the good side and helped him get up. He walked around for a few minutes and then went back down the right way this time....whew what a night. I hate to see him hurting and was so THANKFUL my dad was around because I was feeding and doing everything by myself tonight and would of had to wait on help if he hadnt of been there. I am so ready for this adventure to be over and have my boy running and playing again. This has been a very long month.
