Had a nice chat with my mom and you know what she mentioned? Me becoming an astrophysicist. The same study my Pepere used to be heavily interested in. If I pursued astrophysics, Im sure my family would not be surprised. I was that child that doubted everything, asked all sorts of questions and rented the science encyclopedia from the library every week just to read all about the cosmos. I thought planets were the most beautiful things and I was actually ridiculously interested in astronomy when I was little. I had a telescope and this plastic ball that projected the constellations onto my ceiling and walls. I loved studying constellations and was always curious about what lies above and below me. What surrounds me? Where do I lie in the Universe? Why do we feel so big when in reality, were so small? Is there another planet that has life that doesnt need to breathe oxygen like we do? Its nice to see that the same things that intrigued me as a child, still intrigue me now. Does this mean this is the career I should pursue... or is it just another field I should study leisurely?
