Had a really strange morning! Graeme wanted to go to McDonalds for breakfast so off we set. Heading into Barrhead, G sees a dog running along on its own. Next thing we are off trying to catch it. G finally managed to grab it. The dog was a lovely, young GSD male. We put him in the car (G was wishing we had had the jeep with us) and headed off to Barrhead police station. I wasnt happy about leaving him there as they had no facilities for him and I know the police are not great at looking after stray dogs. G wasnt happy about taking him away but a trembly lip moment later and he folded!! Off we went to the local vets and they scanned him and found his owners. They were willing to hold him till the owner had been contacted but we waited and the owner arrived shortly after. Happy dog, happy owner and even happier Graeme cos he was wondering where it was going to sleep once it came to live with us ;)
