Had a scare yesterday afternoon. While going about my day I was interupted by a loud forceful knock on our front door that lapsed for just a moment but began again with more force. After getting no response they then moved to our driveway side door and proceded to knock even louder before moving on to banging on our side kitchen window. At this point the thoughts that were going through my head were of fear wondering who it might be. When your mortgage is six months past due you tend to be leary of who might be knocking on your door. We tend to keep our doors shut and locked, windows closed, curtains drawn so not to attract any unwelcome guests. "Meaning anyone involved with our mortgage company". Needless to say, after relentlessly pounding on our doors and window I finally heard a man yell out, "Do you want your grass cut"? I glanced out an upstairs window to in fact ensure this mans sole purpose for being at our home was to inquire about lawn cutting. Upon looking, I saw him and his mower with attached gas can begin to finally move further down the street. A great sense of relief in knowing that was all it was about. This is mine and Janets reality now. Prisoners in our own home. Afraid to even look out our windows or answer our door. Living in fear of who might be on the other side ready to take our home from us. No one deserves to live in fear of another........................
