Had a very strange dream last night that Willie Nelson and Wyclef Jean were staying as overnight guests at my house, and after staying up all night drinking with them, I got the (very unlike me) idea that it would be HILARIOUS to cut their hair on one side while they were sleeping. (In the dream, Wyclef still had long hair. Im pretty sure he had none now, but tell that to my subconscious.) Wyclef awoke from this, laughed, and went back to sleep peacefully, but Willie was not amused. He drew a gun from his pocket, sat up, and said he was going to kill me, and next thing I knew I was running through the streets of Queens from an irate Willie Nelson. Or so I thought. When I stopped for a breath and looked behind me I found he was nowhere in sight, and I came back home to find he had fallen back asleep and snuggled up on my couch with Wyclef, revolver in hand, Hepcat sprawled across both of them purring incessantly. Upon waking up from all this, the only thought I had was: Wow, I havent listened to Regina Spektor in ages! And this seemed like an appropriate place to start.
