Wednesdays weather: A ridge of high pressure will cover the Northern Isles today and tomorrow but will continue to feed in moist easterly winds. Forecast in detail Itll remain dry this afternoon with a good deal of low cloud, but this will clear at times across the west mainland to allow some warm sunshine. Winds this afternoon will remain light to moderate easterly of force 3 or 4 with seas remaining slight. Top temperatures around 15C 59F, but 19C 66F where it brightens up. Then that low cloud becoming extensive through this evening and turning foggy in places too. Winds overnight backing southeasterly force 3 or 4 with seas remaining slight. Minimum temperature 12C 54F. Outlook for tomorrow Dry with a lot of low cloud around the south and east but brightening up across the west again.
