Had a young man tell me the most heart-warming story I have ever heard. It was about his 5-month-old daughter who needed Similac. How he was down to his last $25 and how he was waiting on a check from the military for $15K and that he could pay me back. He saw my hesitation so he masterfully switched to Christianity. Explaining that my hesitation was the Devil trying to prevent me from doing what I knew in my heart was right. After a short pause, I declined, explaining that it was not the Devil causing me to hesitate. It was in fact that he had told me the exact same elaborate story last year, but across the street, about the exact same 5-month-old daughter. He then smiled and said, I thought I remembered you from somewhere. Sigh...
