Had an accident yesterday in my Hyundai I30 Fortunately I was alone in the car and no other vehicle was involved I was pulling in to my friend s house and my brakes failed.causing me to severely damage the structure of her garage. My car is a write off My question is this ..Is it usual for the air bag to burn the driver?when the police and ambulance arrived my top and bra was burned through and this morning I have large blisters on my chest The police in attendance told me that it should not have happened,and that the air bag must have been faulty ( my car was well loved and maintained) but as Ive never had an accident in 50 years of driving I dont know. Does anyone have any ideas??
