Had an eventful day today, some good, some bad, some very bad. went to Henryville to donate to the band yard sale, connected with old friends. On way back to Sellersburg, rear tire blew out. AAA towed to shop, turns out needed all new tires and realignment $750. Went to Walmart in New Albany came out to find German Shepherd in vehicle across from me in distress from being left in the car. Called New Albany Police they sent 2 units, but in the meanwhile the asshole who owned the dog came out and left. Police arrived just seconds later, I told them direction he went, had already given license # so they went looking for him and was going to issue citation at very least. Get home to find my dog, Hunter, very sick, over the next 3 hrs he got worse. Called the Dr. Hannigan our vet and he met us at his office. Hunter had bleeding in his abdomen most likely from liver tumor and veins collapsing. My dearest friend was dying and in pain, so Rob, John and I made the best decision for Hunter, and he went to Heaven. For those of you that have or had pets can understand what we are going through, so please pray with us. Hunter was a golden lab/retriever and was 13 years young and will be sorely missed.
