Hajj Fare Subsidy Appreciating the importance of Hajj in the lives of Muslims, the State administration did not just inaugurate a committee to look into the problem militating against successful Hajj in the state but also saddled it with the task of ascertaining most viable way of cushioning the attendant economic effects on prospective pilgrims to Mecca. It is in view of this that the administration tremendously eased the 2010, 2011 Hajj by paying N52, 200:00for each of the about 7,000 pilgrims and insisting that they were well attend to throughout the pilgrimage period.
