Hallgrim Hansegård: After years of diplomatic problems between China and Norway which have stopped a lot of artistic collaborations, Norwegian politicians don`t have the balls to warmly welcome the great peace prize winner Dalai Lama in Norway. I`m emberrased of politicians from both countries, how can countries of so good people have so weak politicians? I`d like to share some moments from the Norwegian-Chinese art collaboration 8 which we made without interpreter or a common verbal language. After delivering 350 pages of Visa application to the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing documenting that the kung fu monks were my friends (in fright of Chinas strategy of holding back Culture Visa Passports we applied for Friend Visa) we succeeded in realising our dream of touring together in Europe. Norway and China have so much to learn from each other. Don`t let power hunting politicians ruin the impression of the countries people.
