Hamdan Bin Mohammed attends finals Al Yamama camel racing festival (sports 17-09-2014 ) Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has attended yesterday the second day of “Al Yamama” camel racing festival, held in celebration of Sheikh Hamdan’s achievement at Normandy’s Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014, at Al Marmoum racetrack. Present at the camel race festival was Vice President of Al Shabab Club Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The festival made up of 20 rounds and featured hefty prizes that include luxury Rang Rovers and cash prizes. Ten camel owners won ten Rang Rovers at the preliminary rounds, other winners walked away with cash prizes. Camel owners and enthusiasts expressed appreciation over Sheikh Hamdan’s generosity that is no stranger to his highness who encourages Emirati youth to partake in this traditional sport.
