Hand stand tutorial #3 The following 2 videos show gymnastic holds. These types of core valance stability exercises are becoming very common in magazine workouts and cross training, especially the L-sit. Ive been doing these exercises for a few years now, and first started out on kettlebells... which are a more of a challenge due to the added stress to the wrists and instability of the kbells themselves. Its important to note that Olympic rings can be used as well In this video is what I call the ski hold. I broke it up into 5 sec in the hold, 5 sec rest for a total of 15 sec. This should be done for 3 sets total at least. These holds such as the ski and L-sit can lead into transitioning into other holds or a handstand itself.
