Hangout On Air guest management using Google Apps Getting guests into a Google Hangout On Air video broadcast can be a hassle. Confusion over circles and email addresses can lead to missed invitations and confusion. This video demonstrates a HOA guest account system using a private Google Sites website managed by a Google Apps account. An apps user account is used as a guest account that links to a private landing page that displays a show outline and link to join the HOA broadcast green room. Unlike other methods, the guest does not have to create a Google+ account of any kind. The guest logon/password are reset by the Apps account administrator after the broadcast is over and can be re-used for the next guest. The solution does require a Google Apps account. Google offers a 30 day free trial and after that the cost can vary but a per user plan is priced at $5/user/mo. Members of the Social Media Skunkworks community will have the opportunity to participate in tests where they can see how this works firsthand. Join the community: goo.gl/8zflRZ #YouTube
